I engage 2010
As part of the project „I ENGAGE FOR A BETTER LIFE" a community day will take place, during which several employers and their employees will together do volunteer work in selected non-profit organisations throughout the Czech Republic.
The project supports the engagement of businesses in a community or in the place of operation. Through volunteer engagement of businesses it naturally interlinks the commercial and the non-profit sectors and helps community development in regions.
By participating in the project, businesses openly declare their responsible approach to the society and to their business performance.
The project is part of an international programme Engage of the organisation Business in the Community. The ENGAGE Key Cities Programme unites community partners and businesses in various cities on the whole planet. It encourages them to plan and introduce innovative and sustainable programmes of employment involvement in community operation.
In the Czech Republic, this project is organised by the platform of the forum of socially responsible companies Business for the Society and by the Donors Forum.

Special events for the TOP management of businesses with the presence of journalists and people from the public sphere will take place in selected non-profit organisations in Prague and Ostrava.
Public-benefit organisations involved in the project I ENGAGE FOR A BETTER LIFE perform in the areas of the environment, spare-time activities for children, physically handicapped, seniors, animal care and animal protection, etc.
