Skills and competence development project
The platform Business for Society, with the cooperation of the Donors Forum and Alpinautic, s.r.o., has set up for the year 2010 a project for the support of the development of soft skills and personal competence.
Corporate volunteers, professionals in an area or those ready to offer some other type of help, come to the public-benefit sector to share their expertise, competence or some other form of energy (such as manual work). They want to support professionalism, independence and effectiveness of those working in this sector.
The public-benefit sector makes use of their experience. In their contact with a different environment, volunteers can tune to seeking more personal subjects, e.g. through team or individual couching. This helps develop the personal values of the volunteers and harmonise them with social values.
